Fish Hook Removal !!

Fish Hook Removal !!

Have you ever been on the lake or river and been accidentally impaled with a fish hook by your fishing partner, yourself or even a fish when trying to land it?  Well, if you have,  you know it puts you in quite a predicament!   Do you leave immediately for the emergency room at a hospital or doctor’s office to have it removed? It all depends on where the hook is embedded and whether any of those facilities are nearby or accessible.  There are other alternatives.  This video shows one of them. Hope it helps you if this ever happens at a time you least expect it!

    Hey Paw Paw,
Very informative! Much needed for us river fishermen. I know because after 50 years of fishing, I got hooked in my finger while fishing with BasserDrew a few years ago. Fortunately I was on our local flow and near my Doctor; who just “happened” to be working late at his office and was able to remove. Thank the Good Lord! I am not sure if I have the courage to try this. But ya never know. I’m impressed that you do. Hopefully we can go fishing again sometime.
    Catch a big one,
    BasserLewis
