I learned this technique a few years ago during a talk with Jeff Little, kayak angler. He had seen it on a website out there on the internet. It certainly is a lot cheaper than buying plastic or glass rattles at a tackle shop.
As I mention in the video, I usually sit down twice a year and make about 30-50 rattles at a time. I made 32 rattles in this sitting and they will last me into the fall.
I know that some of my fishing buddies also make their own rattles, but I thought that some here may want to see how it’s done.
