Well man this Guy is a true class act! He is one of the nicest, most genuine and humble people I know. He is always helping somebody. He offered to pay mine and my sons way in Drew’s tourney when he found out I didn’t have the funds. That is just the kind of friend he is. There is not enough space on the page to tell you all of the things he has done for other people. I am proud to call him friend. I learned a long time ago if you surround yourself with good people, they will make you a better person.  That is why I associate with people like HiCountry (Allen Fowler). He may not be the greatest fisherman, or the best paddler, but he is one of the greatest riverbassers I know.

Congrats to Patrick Reif for being selected as March 2010′s River Basser of the Month!  Patrick has been nominated by his fellow River Bassers for his dedication to spreading the word about our unique sport.  Patrick is very involved in getting new people onto the water, which is exactly what river fishing needs!  Patrick’s also been out on the water recently, getting rid of the skunk  for the year, you can check out the Virginia Forum for his story there.   It’s this hard work in spreading the word and dedication to the sport that have made Patrick our newest Basser of the Month.

Congratulations to Carl “Ole Hooker” Bryant, RiverBassin.com’s basser of the month for March 2009. Carl resides in Ohio but is often fishing rivers in South Carolina where his son Ron resides. During his current trip down south to visit Ron and the family he has caught three river largemouth over 5lbs, including a 5lb 10oz whopper! Congrats Carl!
