“The Devil’s Beauty” is an entertaining music video tribute to the trip I made to the Devils River earlier in the year with Brady Sullivan. A big thanks to Brady for setting this all up and doing all of the leg work. He’s truly a great fisherman as well, and a better man for sure. Also, big thanks to TG Canoe & Kayak for supplying me with a Coosa since I had to fly in. Of course Jackson Kayak, GoPro, Aqua Bound/Bending Brances and Kokat all had their usual important roles in my adventures and I can’t say enough about all those products.
The scenery at the Devils is majestic. It is truly one of the best places to get away from the hustle and bustle of society and sit in amazement at how beautiful and artistic the God of this universe really is. Enjoy the video!
…Just thought I would share a product with you that has been working for me lately on the grass laden rivers in Florida. Be warned now that flipping and pitching can be addicting when you get into using that technique. You’ve been warned.
Fall has always been one of my favorite times of year on the water because there is less traffic due to hunting and football, and of course the colors that begin to cover the landscape make the trip even more scenic. Oh, did I mention that the river bass bite really picks up that time of year as well? In this video Bruiser and I get a taste of every aspect that makes Fall so great in my book and catch some nice fish on my favorite smallmouth, spot and shoal bass spinnerbait – the “mini me” by SOB Lures.
This is an exciting new video about a unique guided fishing trip I had the pleasure of taking Bill Byers and Andy Minton on. They didn’t need to catch a lot of fish or even big fish, just particular species of black bass that live throughout the southeast. We only had four days of fishing to get it done and weather and water conditions were not kind. Did we do it or did October’s nasty rain and cold front prevent us from reaching our goal? There is only one way to find out…
Don’t miss all of the River Bassin™ pioneer’s episodes. Be sure not to miss the episode where he and the gang paddle through the cave, or the one where the 20 inch smallmouth jumps four feet in the air in the attempt to shake free! Of course there are also the numerous videos with huge shoal bass known as shoaliemonsters! Oh, and how can anyone forget about the time he fished in downtown catching bass underneath the interstate? No matter which one you watch, I am sure it will get you pumped up and ready to go river bassin™!
…RiverBassin.com recently had one of its popular River Bassin Rodeos in North Carolina and it was full of food, fishing and fellowship as always. The weather threw us for a loop and we decided to make a last minute change of location to avoid the majority of the rain. All who attended were certainly glad we made that call because we avoided all the rain during the day and it only hit us on Saturday night. This video is a little bit about the rodeo and my time on the water on Saturday.
Went river bassin on a whim yesterday and I am glad I did. The bass were on as usual in pre-front conditions. Landed about 20 largemouth in about 6 hours, with one real nice fatty. You know the drill, just click play!
…Well, if you didn’t you’ll soon be a believer because the latest River Bassin TV episode shows spotted bass in small water getting righteous air and smashing some topwater lures. Just click play to enjoy the show.
…The latest River Bassin TV episode where we do normal things like catch bass, go down rapids, oh, and paddle through a rapid-filled cave! No need to go back and re-read the sentence because you heard right, we go through a rapid-filled cave! Click play to watch the adventure.
