Persistence, you wanna know what persistence is? Well, just take a good look at this young riverbasser. We all call her Smiley! Her mom and dad and husband probably call her Rachael. Fairly new at riverbassin™ out of a kayak and for that matter fairly new to bass fishing too, Rachael has come to love riverbassin™ almost as much as her better half, Jason (Lowhybred09). Competing in her very first Riverbassin.com tournament competition just weeks ago, Rachael has exhibited the true enthusiasm and love for chasing the largemouth, shoal and spotted bass we all know so well. Rachael has constantly been learning about the habits and little tricks of the trade to make herself a better fisherwoman. She’s definately doing a great job!! Wanna see what the payback is for persistence??? Watch this short video and find out!!!
This is a short video of me (PawPaw) prefishing with my new Riverbassin.com friend Plantmasterstim on the Ocmulgee River.
Tim is from Kentucky and was down here in Georgia to fish the final event of the year of the 2010 Riverbassin.com Tournament Trail held at the BassPro Shop in Macon, Ga..
Look out Ms. Shoalie……..here I come!!! To celebrate his birthday this week, Patrick Reif made the long journey to Georgia from his home in North Carolina in an attempt to catch his first trophy shoal bass. Patrick had planned to spend the next two days doing whatever it took to accomplish this goal. Will the shoal bass bug bite Patrick???? Watch and lets find out!!!!
Well…….BasserDrew has done gone and shamed me in front of the whole riverbassin world about not
videoing TyGa10 in my last video even though his name did appear in the CREDITS. This past
Thursday, TyGa and I got together and once again hit one of our local flows. TyGa is truly a great
sport and a pleasure to fish with as well a good friend. He doesn’t grumble or complain
(at least to me) the whole day long when on the river even when the fish might not be cooperating
as he would like them to. This is TyGa’s “Cameo Appearance” and this video is dedicated to him!!!!
Thanks Robert for being such a great friend! You will notice in the video that Robert is not much for
words!!!
The main scene with TyGa is a rest stop we made midday to take a lunch break. What a beautiful setting!
New things and places are always exciting! The anticipation of fishing a new river is no exception. On Monday, 05/24/2010, TyGa10 and I invited Jason (LowHybred09) to join us on the beautiful but heavily stained Flint River.
Jason’s excitement was was high with anticipation of catching some shoalies….Join us and share in Jason’s first day on the Flint River……
I have to say that since taking up river kayak fishing, I have made many new friends. Each of them are from all walks of life and with totally different backgrounds than myself. This marvelous outdoor sport has provided me with many opportunities to meet new people, good and wonderful people and has also helped me to share with others the sport I personally love so much. Please join me on the river with three of my newest friends while chasing the elusive shoal bass on one of Georgia’s most beautiful rivers.
Gentlemen & ladies…..if you were not able to attend, you surely missed a great time. The fun, fellowship and eating was far better than the words I write could describe. All I know is, I had a wonderful time and went home with memories that will be with me for a lifetime. Come join us in this video enjoying it all………
….With spring in the air and the excitement of the shoal bass turning on to the warmer weather, “Dennis The Fish Menace”, Basshead and I (PawPaw) decide to get together to test the shoal bass’ eagerness to bite on the beautiful Flint River this past Saturday, April 03, 2010. Join us as we make our way down the Flint……..
….. This is one tip of many that I wanted to share with my fellow Riverbassin™ friends. It’s the little things that make the difference at the end of the day. Hope this tip is one that helps you!
…..Everyone is always anxious to participate in the annual spring bite. TyGa10 and I are no exception to this addiction. Robert had a few days off from work so he asked me to join him on the river. Had the river conditions improved since our last visit? We were both anxious to find out. Join us while we test the waters of the Flint River………
$1.00, $2.00 every little bit helps! The ocean is made up of many small drops of water and we appreciate your contribution however small, which gets put toward our site operations cost as well as upgrades throughout the year.
